The 2025 Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market’s Design Contest Guidelines

Below are the guidelines/rules for the Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market Design Contest:
  1. One submission per individual/artist
  2. All artwork must be original and cannot include third-party artwork or materials (but use of the Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market logo is permitted). 
  3. The design must include the words "Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market" in any form.
  4. A maximum of three colors is permitted to be used in a submission.
  5. All entries must be submitted digitally and be in a high resolution file format, preferably an eps, png or jpeg file.  
  6. Submission Deadline is October 25, 2025
  7. Submissions can be made through e-mail. Submit entries or questions to [email protected] with the subject line: 2025 T-Shirt Design Submission
  8. Our Board of Directors will select the winning submission. If selected, the artist will grant the Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market full rights to use the artwork for promotional materials.
  9. The winner will be announced on Social Media. 
  10. Artwork will be used on Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market apparel and other promotional items, as well as featured on Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market social media channels.

Things You Should Include:
  • The following text: “Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market”
  • Optional text:  “Your Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market” “Growing for you since 2008” “Say Yes to Fresh”
  • Because this will be printed on a T-shirt, designs with a vertical orientation are preferable. 

Things You Should Avoid:
  • Do not use photos
  • Do not use stock images or clip art
  • Do not submit copyrighted work

Artwork Guideline:
  • Artwork should include no more than 3 colors
  • Winning design will be printed on Carolina Blue T-shirts
