TerraVITA Sustainable Food & Wine Event
When: Saturday, October 16, from 1-5 p.m.
TerraVITA is bringing together many of our own devoted local chefs with others from across the state to offer samples made with locally grown, sustainable meats and produce. Marilyn Markel from A Southern Season will do a cooking demonstration creating a dish featuring pumpkin from one of our own – Roberson Creek Farm.
An Agricultural Experience Tour and “A Taste of Alamance” Dinner featuring Smith Angus Beef. Farm Bureau of Alamance County is proud to sponsor this 4th agricultural experience. This is an opportunity for folks in our county to see, learn and enjoy what’s grown and produced loccally in our county.
