About Us
Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market (formally known as South Estes Farmers’ Market) was started in April 2008 by Farmers of Orange, a state non-profit organization created for local farmers by local farmers. All of our farmers and artisans live within 60 miles of Hillsborough, NC and bring fresh, quality produce, value-added farm products and crafts to market year-round. The market is vendor run and operated by our market manager. A Southern Season sponsors our space in the parking lot of University Mall and generously supports us in other ways. Every dollar spent goes directly to our farmers and crafters. All items are grown, fished or created by our farmers and artisans. Thank you for your support!

Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market Animal Policy
Pets are not allowed in the Market area during hours of operation. Official service animals are exempt from this rule. We appreciate your cooperation in making Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market a safe and friendly place for all.
